Lori was great to work with however Terri was no where near truthful and or as educated on the insurance she was selling.
I personally would highly recommend knowing the facts prior to taking their word. If you don't know the facts take the time to educate yourself. Unfortunately I will get stuck with this bill for their error.
My experience started out good with Lori shepard. However Lori told me that she was not quite as experienced in the construction business so she had me meet with Terri Cover. Terri seemed very knowledgeable and I was 100% honest with them as far as what our company does (in my industry that is not that common). When I signed up I gave shepard a $2400 and made $640 month payments for 2 to 3 months. As my company started I could not afford work comp as well, however within 60 days I had the ability to sign my 2 employees up for work comp. This is where things went as a disaster. I again paid them 2400 down and I was told this was to cover the year. Well then after 30 days they do an insurance audit and tell me that I owe them $7000 somehow for 2 employs that make are making 40k an 20k a year. So I said forget about it and cancel the policy via phone and email. So instead of canceling immediately they left it going for several months. Now in order to get work comp they have a something set up where I can't get work comp at all without paying $4600 because they didn't do there job.
