I went in yesterday around lunch time. I was there for maybe 15 minutes total to register my vehicle and update my license. Gina is the one who helped me, and it was definitely a pleasant experience. She was very quick, explained everything she was doing perfectly and was just overall a good personality to work with. I've never had a better experience at a BMV.
The staff and management are very helpful despite the busy schedule. They spoke to the leasing company on my behalf and got them to send the correct documents, when I recently moved back to Columbus and had to transfer the vehicle to Indiana.
Friendly staff. Very strict about time - they stop handing out knowledge test 30 minutes prior to closing time. Driving skills test can be given on Saturday (only 3 slots) but its nearly always booked by those who have failed the test already. Plenty of parking, wait time to speak with staff has not been greater than 15 minutes.
To all the nay sayers; I have always had a good experience at the bmv they do a great job given what they deal with day in and day out.

Beware these non empathizing people, even if You are coming 2 mins late before closing an hour before like 4:02 and they close at 5 pm, inspite of all the hustle You need to make from Your working hours at job, they won't allow You for a driver skill test, totally non accomodating! They can atleast provide 10 mins less time to complete test or complete the licensing part later and just let thr applicant attempt the test.
