My brother was in a horrible car accident in May of this year. The paramedics wrapped his arm at the scene of the accident because he was bleeding bad in that spot. The hospital didn't bother checking it until they were releasing him and realized he had glass in his arm still and needed stitches next to his artery. He had a bunch of scans done, they told him he just had a broken collarbone. A week later when he went to have everything checked out because he was in severe abdominal pain still. He found out he had several broken ribs and a lacerated spleen; how did the hospital miss all of that? Thank God he's okay now.
