Very nice apartment for the price. Fully furnished, and nice quality. Building is well kept on the inside. Very nice staff that solves any of the problems you have very quickly! Has a volley ball court outback. Plenty of parking spaces. Overall a great place to stay for school.
The Annex of Columbus staff members were very nice and made me feel welcomed. I loved the move-in folder and gift bag that I received from them, it had great information and great gifts! The events on their event calendar gave me great opportunities to meet new people and I have personally met wonderful new neighbors. They also couldn't have done better job at my roommate matching, we get along really great and it was the best decision I have made yet!
The Annex has a really great social environment and lots of new amenities. I am here for the summer and have really enjoyed living here, meeting new people, and more. They matched me with wonderful roommates whom I really get along with. It is very quiet and reasonably priced. The common areas are also very nice and clean always and free coffee is even provided every morning!! Also super close to the grocery store Kroger, the Cummins plants, and the college!
Lastly, the location is ugly, Indiana is a beautiful place but this apartment is located next to an airport. Asphalt and an empty field is your best view.
As far as student housing goes, this is the best. Happy to call this place home, and the facilities and price are awesome. The location and atmosphere are also great perks. Vincent Victery
However, the layout of the apartment is bad. The furniture is VERY cheap. There is a TV stand but no TV. Not many students have TVs. I'd expect the place to be better furnished for the price they demand. Also the kitchen has no space. There are no cabinets under the sink. There are 4 half sized cupboards and 2 smaller cupboards - one being unusable above the fridge. There is not enough space for dishes and only space for a couple days worth of food. There are only 2 half sized drawers so find another place to put your silverware - ours is on top of our microwave.
Also there are 4 smoke detectors in the tiny apartment and they are all connected to a blaring fire alarm that can be heard 2-4 apartments over and anyone outside (You've never heard something this loud - I thought the fire department was on their way the first time it went off). One of the detectors is right above the stove - ours goes off about twice a week with no fires just a tiny bit of smoke.
If you care about the luxury of your apartment and beautiful location find somewhere else - for the price there are many better alternatives. If you just want the social scene this is a great place for you - there is no better social scene than here. The Annex is great for the student scene. I am a Cummins intern and it is fun to get to be around all the other interns here.
