I took my son to Dr. Forbes. Dr. Forbes himself was very nice. The problem arose with the billing. I have medical insurance. However when we arrived to have my son's tooth removed (one tooth) I was ask to pay $1200 then they would bill my insurance. I was under them impression that $1200 was the amount in full. Afterwards however it was explained that was just an estimate and the actually cost was nearly $3000. It was explained that they had no idea how much it would cost or what would be involved with removing a tooth before the tooth was removed. I was also told that they have no set price for procedures. My final out of pocket costs ended up being over $1500. I find it hard to believe any respectable business could have such unprofessional billing practices.
I can’t recommend Dr. Forbes or his staff enough! I had such a positive experience and will be referring my friends.
Last week I went in for the surgery. Dr. Forbes staff were so calming and made me feel at ease. I woke up from the surgery feeling great, and I was eating corn on the cob the next day! I went to my dentist for a cleaning today and they said my mouth was healing up wonderfully.
Last year as a senior in high school I learned that I had to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was very apprehensive but went in for a consolation with Dr. Forbes because my dentist recommended him. Dr. Forbes was so knowledgable, friendly, and professional. I left ready feeling so much more comfortable.
