Very friendly service. Took the car to my mechanic to have it checked out before the sale just to make sure, and no issues found. Never felt rushed or bothered. got a good deal. Thx.
Beware... not trustworthy. Contacted about a Chrysler Town & Country multiple times during an afternoon and evening. The next day call Dan (owner) and asked more questions. Then called and negotiated pricing and then confirmed how he wanted payment. He preferred cash to cashiers check... so, I told him I'd bring cash for his convenience. Told him it was 2 hr drive for me, but would need 30 minutes more to stop by bank. Called after that to let him know we were leaving. Got to the lot to find another customer trying to be sold the minivan... and Dan nowhere to be found. His mom was there and I expressed my disappointment with a few choice words. The other customer didn't end up buying it. Dan finally showed up and I told him that that is not how you treat customers, that we had talked 4 or 5 times on the phone and had told him I was coming to buy the Chrysler, that he could have called me back to confirm this if someone else was interested... only to get attitude back from him and that he didn't see a problem with how the situation was handled. This is why people dislike used car dealers so much. Of course... took my cash back home after the attitude. Worst part is that all he had to do is apologize and maybe say it was a miscommunication... I would have still bought it because it was what I was looking for.
In response to Jennifer's response below... Jennifer, that is definitely not the case. Dan's mother did not say that we had first dibs on the minivan... also, we spoke to the family looking at the van and they had no clue that we were on the way up to get it. I'll say that again... the family did not know someone else was coming up to purchase the van. I'll say this... you should have been there, because with your polite response, we would have purchased the minivan. Wasted 5 hours of my day and gas. Very disappointing.
It was a pleasure to deal with D&J Auto. The staff is very down to earth and nice people to deal with. We drove almost 2 hours to get there. Even though the vehicle we came for was sold probly during our trip down it all worked out. I found a quality used minivan that was perfect for my family. Made a good deal with Danny on the van. Away we went. It was a great experience and had a family feel to it. Thank you Danny and family.
Updating my post now that I have had the car for 4 Months. There was a major motor oil leak and additional repairs. I don't feel like they have these cars looked at before placing them for sale. Each time they were very patient and provided details of each car. I would highly recommend this place....
That's a 1 only because u can't leave a 0. Worst experience for myself and son. Car had issues asked questions, had no time for them. Thanked us sorry it didn't work out he said. You should be sorry we had cash in hand. Your time must heave been more valuable than ours. Dan purchases pays your bills. Will never be back. And no need to leave a feedback because it would be a lie. Do not trust this place.
