I absolutely love this place ,so far I have only been there a few times , however ,they are professional, knowledgeable,they treat you like family and they truly are fun, an amazing group of people to put your dental trust in , I highly recommend , if you have a dental need ? Check these people out, I have no regrets and neither will you , It is an awesome place !!!
Was very nervous about trying a new dentist and these folks made me feel like I'd been a patient my whole life. Dr. Bartels and his staff were absolutely wonderful to say the least, even had my 4 yr excited about his next visit. If your thinking about trying them out, your wasting your time just go see em because they will make you feel like part of their family. I know we sure did!!!
Six months ago I gave a rave review because Nikki cleaned my teeth and was very gentle. I made an appointment for my daughter to see Nikki when she came in town from college. Two weeks ago my daughter had a horrific experience with hygienist Lindsey (even though I've verified that Nikki was going to be the one cleaning her teeth ). I asked the front office Christy if she would have Dr. Bartel call me and it's been almost 2 weeks and he hasn't bothered to call back. The last time my daughter was in she also got a mouthpiece for whitening and it ruined her teeth with white spots all over them. No resolve from dentist office as of yet. Disappointed.
I've been going here for about 2-3 years. I switched from another dentist within Columbus because I wasn't pleased with the Dentist as much. Dr. Bartel's office had good reviews, and I generally agree with them. I'm very pleased with Dr. Bartels service, the location (although on the opposite side of town from me) is good. I'm also pleased with the general atmosphere and office staff. They work with my insurance (Anthem) fine, I don't feel like they're constantly upselling me, and the hygienist's get to know me well enough during each visit.
CONS: I've had a new hygienist every year I've been there, whereas I'd prefer someone more consistent. Their reminder system is incredibly annoying - they send you an email a few weeks before to remind you that you must RESPOND to, they text you reminders, they call you with reminders, and then they send a follow-up reminder email right before the appointment. They also have told me they're unable to have the system not send you reminders.
I really appreciate Dr. Bartels and his staff. I was able to get a crown in the same day. His staff is extremely friendly. Dr. Bartels is very good at his job. Why would you go to another dentist!!!!!!!!
