UPDATE: We ended up going to small claims court on the matter. Axsom-Franke fought for the remaining money they felt owed PLUS court fees. The court ruled in my favor and I had to pay nothing more, proving they were in the wrong.
I have worked with numerous plumbers in town and never had the unprofessional treatment and price gouging of Axsom-Franke Plumbing. Someone else called them for the job but I was the one that got to deal with them. They did not do what I asked and cursed me when I questioned them. Then when I got the bill of $892 for a DRAIN CLEANING and called to have Todd explain the bill he cursed at me and hung up the phone. I am a professional in town and he even threatened to leave a negative review if I didn't pay. I paid him $500 and now he is taking me to small claims court for the remaining $392. This will be a first for me but I feel strongly that this is an act of principal on my part. I don't want this happening to anyone else.
